Nigerian Student Emerges Best Student in Ghanaian University

igerian student has shown that Nigeria is indeed the giant of Africa by emerging the best graduating student in Ghana University of Technology for the 2010/2011 academic year, thereby making the country proud again.

Excited Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Ambassador Ademola Oluwaseyi, disclosed this to a delegation from the university, led by the President, Prof. Clement Dzidonu, who paid a courtesy call on him in Accra recently.

Ambassador Oluwaseyi expressed his heart felt joy on how Nigerian students are making good grades and making the country proud in the Diaspora, commending their persevering spirit and dedication to studies.

He emphasised that Nigerian students can excel academically anywhere in the world.

He advised that Ghana University of Technology should be a preferred choice to parents seeking university admission for their wards in West Africa, noting that this will strengthen the cordial relationship between the two countries.

Bible Student Rapes Spiritual Leader’s Wife, Records It On His iPAD And Kills Her

he Bible student who confessed to killing a spiritual leader's wife revealed to a pastor he recorded the sexual assaults on his iPad, it emerged today, as the 23-year-old appeared in court. Micah Moore, of Kansas City, was charged on Saturday with first-degree murder in the death of Bethany Ann Deaton, which was made to look like a suicide after a bottle of pills and a note were left by her body.

He appeared shackled in court today with his head bowed to hear the charges against him after he confessed to the October 30 murder on Friday. Moore told an International House Of Prayer pastor at the Grandview Police Department that he video recorded the sexual assaults on his iPad.

Despite this, he has not been charged with any sexual assault. It is not yet clear if his iPad has been seized.

IHOP released a statement today distancing themselves from the 'cult' saying they had no idea what kind of practices the students engaged in.

The body of the 27-year-old woman was found in a van with a bag over her head with a suicide note that said: 'My name is Bethany Deaton. I chose this evil thing. I did it because I wouldn't be a real person and what is the point of living if it is too late for that?

'I wish I had chosen differently a long time ago. I knew it all and refused to listen. Maybe Jesus will still save me.' The statement, seen by The Kansas City Star, said that Moore admitted he was with Deaton at the lake and that he 'placed a bag over her head and held it there until her body shook'.

Moore was one of a number of roommates of Bethany Deaton and her husband Tyler, who was said to serve as 'the spiritual leader of a community'. He said he was afraid that Deaton was going to tell her therapist about assaults that had occurred over the previous few months.

Witnesses told detectives they were a part of a 'religious community' where they had sex with each other.
Moore told police that he was told to kill Bethany Deaton by a person who said 'he knew Micah had it in him to do it'.

Another person who lived at their house told police Tyler had recently been 'angry and frustrated' and that in the weeks before Bethany's death he revealed 'he had had a dream that he killed his wife by suffocating her'.
Moore is the only person to be charged in the case as yet but the police said they are still investigating.

Bethany's father released a statement on Monday about her death: 'We are deeply grieving the loss of our beautiful and innocent daughter. We are shocked and horrified by the information now coming forth. 'The betrayal, the subtle and increasing manipulation, and the brutal victimization which occurred is beyond tragic. We pray for the truth to be revealed.

'While it is important to understand how Bethany died, it is even more important to understand how she lived. Because of the ongoing investigation, we do not have any further comment at this time.'

Woman Allegedly Swallows 51 Condoms Filled With Heroine.

Customs officials at Vancouver International Airport say a woman returning to Canada had swallowed 51 condoms filled with heroin, the Times Colonist reports.

Agents detained the traveler, whose name was not released, on Nov. 6 on suspicion of carrying drugs. After a hospital X-ray revealed the heroin-filled condoms, known as "pellets," doctors determined she had both ingested and inserted the drugs, according to the Calgary Herald.

Surgeons were able successfully remove the pellets, but experts say the woman would have died without medical intervention.

"Ingesting narcotics to evade detection is a practice that is extremely dangerous for the courier, regardless of how well the pellets are wrapped," Nicole Goodman, chief of airside and special enforcement operations, said in a press release.

According to the release, the woman was the third internal drug smuggler caught at VIA in three days.

Central Bank Cancels N100 Charge On Use Of Other Banks’ ATM

Users of Automated Teller Machines will no longerpay N100 on withdrawals whenever they use banks other than theirs, the Central Bank of Nigeria said on Tuesday.

The decision was taken at the end of a meeting inAbuja between the CBN and the Bankers Committee.

Managing directors of some banks also attended the meeting.

The Group Managing Director, First Bank Plc, Mr. Bisi Onasanya, told newsmen that the charge as well as others associated with the use of ATMs would be scrapped soon.

He said it was meant to encourage the use of ATMs.

Onasanya said the decision would help to increase the patronage of ATMs, thus deepening the financial inclusion strategy of the apex bank.

He said the modalities for the stoppage is being worked out adding that within the shortest time possible, the adjustments would be reflected in all the ATMs.

"When you use the ATM of a bank other than your bank, there is a charge of N100 which is borne by the account holder.

"We have decided that we will work out the modality and ensure that with immediate effect we would pass on this cost to the respective banks which bear the cost of providing services.

"No matter where you are withdrawing your money from, you will not be subjected to any charge for using the ATM," he explained.

According to him, the new policy does not cover withdrawals inside the banking hall when the ATMs are off.

"But for transaction on what we call 'not on us,' when you are an FBN customer and you use the ATM of a GTB bank, it is free and it will no longer bear any cost," he added.

“Why I Left My Job At The Bank To Become Dangote’s Truck Driver” – PHD Holder

Henry Pender is a graduate of Political Science from the University of Ibadan. Pender graduated in 2000 and has worked as a banker, yet he is among the about 100 graduates undergoing training to become truck drivers; or rather logistics assistants. Pender is also the class governor of this first batch of trainees.

"After my service, I had the privilege of being retained at the Rivers State Primary Education Board where I did my primary assignment.

I was with them for about a year before I joined the All States Trust Bank, which is now defunct. I worked with them for three years before I joined the Ecobank, from there I moved to the Oceanic Bank before joining Ecobank again after the acquisition of Oceanic Bank by Ecobank.

"I had to leave the banking industry when I married my colleague, because the human resource policy then did not allow spouses to work in the same office. I felt that my wife should stay behind while I as a man would look around for something to do. It wasn't easy, because the job was not forthcoming as I thought. I attended a couple of interviews at different places, but I didn't get what I was looking for.

"When this opportunity of becoming truck driver with Dangote presented itself, I applied with open mind. I felt that this is an opportunity for a new beginning to move into a new paradigm that is not explored. We have just begun the journey in the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT). I was pleasantly surprised when I came here to see people from different backgrounds and professions.

"We are all getting along very well. I am looking forward for an experience that would improve our larger society. Dangote has put something in place that would turn out to be a revolution in the transport industry in this country. I think this programme would eventually become a model that all organisations of international standard would adopt in no distance future.

"From personal point of view, I like driving. I have driven a lot since when I became a professional driver and I like travelling. But by coming here, I have been exposed to the academic side of driving. I feel that whatever I do as a graduate, there should be a level of expected difference from what a layman would do. I think the objective of employing graduates as drivers is for sanity to be restored on our highways. Most of us are victims of the recklessness of heavy truck drivers and this is what this initiative wants to address. We are being trained here to become complete gentlemen as drivers," Pender said.

He explained that he has, essentially, decided to join the truck driving profession out of interest not for material reward.

"As at the time we had our interview, there was no mention of any material reward. It is now that we are hearing that after a successful driving for a certain period, or covering of certain mileage that one would own a truck or things like that. No such thing was mentioned; there was no mention of special incentives rather than we would be employed and paid salaries.

"What I would say lured me into joining the truck driving profession is the name Dangote that is known locally and internationally. I bet you that if it were some other companies that came up with this initiative, some of us may not be here but the mention of the name Dangote, one would know that there is quality; there is a personality behind it; there is international recognition; that is what lured most of us here beyond any other material gain.

"We only discovered the entrepreneurial incentive of this programme when we came here; when most of us have completed their registration. Being somebody who had the experience of the banking sector, I would quickly join Dangote, because I know I would have job security and we are enjoying ourselves here in the NITT as the pioneer batch of this training programme. I never knew there is an institute like the NITT in Nigeria. We are grateful to them for the knowledge they are impacting in us.

"I want to also use this medium to urge the youth of Nigeria to work hard. We have to make names for ourselves by working hard as it is not all of us who are children of the privileged, therefore we are here as part of our dignity of labour. I would rather stay here and do this work than apply for visa to go abroad and face all kinds of humiliation by washing toilets or driving taxi while I have a similar option here, which I would do with dignity and leave a good example for the upcoming ones," Pender explained.

As some artistes in the United States campaign for the legalization of marijuana, son of Afro-beat king, Late Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Seun, has also condemned the ban of marijuana and cigarette, claiming that the law's position on the two products was illogical.

Seun enthused that the legally opposed marijuana was medicinal and good for human consumption while the favoured cigarette has lethal consequences. Seun said the lethal cigarette was favoured simply because it was to the white man's profit, stressing that marijuana would make black countries richer than the white if legalized.

He damned black politicians for taking the white's advice against its own natural produce of 'weed' which he said was good after all and accepting the white's product which truncates lives.

"Marijuana is medical, and I feel Cigarette is selling legally because it is white man's business. It is killing millions of people every day. 'Igbo' is not killing anybody… Marijuana is not only for smoking. It's used for a lot of things; you can make clothes, you can drink tea, it is good, it is medicinal, it helps your appetite, they give it to cancer patients.. a lot of benefits", Seun said.

University Of Ibadan, Female Student Drinks Bleach Over HeartBreak

A 100 level student of the University of Ibadan, who attempted to commit suicide by drinking bleach after being jilted by her lover was rushed to the University College Hospital to save her from dying.

 

The female student (name withheld) allegedly drank a solution called Hypo on Sunday Nov 4, after her long time boyfriend ended their relationship.

 

It was learnt further that the news of a serious damage to her kidney had spread on the campus.

 

The poison was flushed out of her system before causing her harm .

 

A singing sensation on campus was said to have quickly waxed a hip hop lyric entitled "Hypo Love" to teach other students, especially ladies the morals of the incident.

 

A source within the university said the lady is now fit and back in school after the poison was flushed out of her system at the institution's Jaja Clinic.

How Pastor Raped 22-Year-Old Girl Eight Times To “Strengthen Her Holy Spirit”

Pastor Wilson Duncan Kwambana, founder and pastor of Mount Olives Church, allegedly raped a congregant several times claiming to be strengthening her Holy Spirit, a court heard.

Pastor Kwambana, 32, yesterday appeared before the magistrate court facing eight counts of rape. The pastor allegedly told the 22-year-old mechanical engineering student that she had a very bad evil spirit in her.

The pastor later told the girl that the Holy Spirit had chosen a husband for her, and the husband who is identified as Tendai Chivangu.

In June last year, the pastor and her claimed holy spirit husband, including other members of their church went to a valley and told the girl and her holy spirit husband to have sexually intercourse that it will help chase the evil spirit in her away.

During the same month, the Pastor took the girl and other church members again to a Hill, where he had sexual intercourse with her four times in his car.

The court was told that the same team went to other different places where the Pastor and her holy spirit husband took turns to have sexual intercourse with the girl.

The Magistrate court released the Pastor on $100 bail and ordered him to return to court on November 21 for trial.

Lady Gaga Donates $1 Million To American Red Cross For Hurricane Sandy Relief

Following the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy, Lady Gaga has given handsomely to New York. The 26-year-old singer made a huge donation to the American Red Cross Wednesday to help with the relief efforts.

"A letter and a gift to New York and the American Red Cross," Gaga tweeted Wednesday with a link to her Little Monsters website.

"Today I pledge 1 million dollars to New York & The American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy Relief," she wrote in the heartfelt letter. "If it wasn't for NYC: the Lower Eastside, Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn, I would not be the woman or artist that I am today."

"New York is relentless ambition, a drive to succeed, a place where there is a natural pursuit of diversity through compassion," Gaga added. Verbally Abusive Husband Slices Off His Tongue To Get Wife Back

The 32-year-old TV repairman from Sendhwa, India reportedly insulted his wife, Hema, so frequently and severely that she recently left him, taking their daughter with her.

The man was so distraught that he tried to lick his abusive habit by cutting off the source: his tongue, according to the Hindustan Times.

Verma tried to reach out to his estranged wife with a note explaining that since it was his tongue that was responsible for his cruel words, he sliced it off, Geobeats reported.

No word on whether his wife believed the reconciliation attempt was anything more than lip service, but Verma was admitted to a government hospital for treatment, and the medical officer informed local police officials about his personal dismemberment.

Verma's isn't the only tongue under attack recently.

A Jack Russell terrier named Ollie in England faces being put down after his tongue was ripped out by a hawk that was being trained.

The bird of prey sank its talons into the dog before ripping off his tongue — leaving the pooch "screaming and covered in blood," HuffPost UK reported.

Back in September, Jayla Small, an 8-year-old in Atlanta, suffered eight hours in pain when a metal water bottle got stuck to her tongue.

14-Year-Old Nigerian Girls Invent Urine-Powered Generator

Possibly one of the more unexpected products at Maker Faire Africa this year in Lagos is a urine powered generator, created by four girls. The girls are Duro-Aina Adebola (14), Akindele Abiola (14), Faleke Oluwatoyin (14) and Bello Eniola (15).

The generator is on display at an exhibition in Lagos Nigeria where people from the tiniest villages to those from big cities are talking about making stuff. This is part of an initiative by 'Maker Faire Movement' which seeks to showcase how traditional handicrafts can be a solution in the wake of expensive robot.

Their invention ensures that 1 Liter of urine gives you 6 hours of electricity.

The system works like this:

1. Urine is put into an electrolytic cell, which separates out the hydrogen.

2. The hydrogen goes into a water filter for purification, which then gets pushed into the gas cylinder.

3. The gas cylinder pushes hydrogen into a cylinder of liquid borax, which is used to remove the moisture from the hydrogen gas.

4. This purified hydrogen gas is pushed into the generator.

21-year-old Nigerian Girl Emerges As University Of Kent’s Most Oustanding Graduating Student

A 21-year-old Nigerian foreign student, Nana Skari, recently emerged the most outstanding graduating student of University of Kent in the United Kingdom. She graduated with a first class Bachelor of Engineering degree at the institution's Department of Computer Systems Engineering at the Kent's University.

Taking a look at the school's profile, the University of Kent founded in 1965, is best known for its world-class research, excellent teaching and an inspiring student experience with international links across nations.

The university is also frequently ranked among the top 30 in British universities. So, with this kind of background, one can imagine how proud it is for Nana, a Nigerian, to study engineering at this prestigious university and graduate with a first class degree.

Even, apart from being the overall best student, Nana also won a separate outstanding award in engineering.

What makes her award unique is the fact that it was given to her by the country's Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), a national body in charge of accreditation of all engineering, computing, multimedia, and information technology programmes at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the UK.

Born in Borno State, Nana at an initial stage of her education, had thought of studying paediatric neurosurgery.

Why she couldn't go for paediatric neurosurgery was not because she didn't meet up with the basic requirement qualifying her for admission into the course, it was because she preferred to study a course she said she has a natural flair for. In her words, she said: "A course I enjoy doing."

Also, she loves mathematics, which she considers to be the "best thing in the world," hence, she opted to study engineering.
Nana recalled that as a student, many people looked down on her ability to record a good performance because to them, she was too playful, and the fact that she goes late to class and being a "back bencher," still made the matter worse.

"I've never answered questions voluntarily in class unless it was directed at me," for this and other earlier stated reasons, Nana said "many people underestimated my abilities."

altBut if not for God, who Nana said had blessed her to be a "focused, optimistic, autonomous, and enthusiastic person," the principles which ordinarily worked for her as a student, it would not have been so easy passing with flying colours.

"I'm the most serious person when it's time to work and I play hard when it's time to play."

"If I want something, I work hard to get it. Settling for less is not even an option," Nana said.

Nana, before travelling abroad, had her basic and secondary education in Nigeria. She attended Tender Care in Kaduna, for her pre-school and primary education.

She later proceeded to Danbo International College, also in Kaduna, for her secondary education, after which she left Nigeria for David Game College, London, for her A-Levels and later got admitted to University of Kent.

Now, Nana has made up her mind to pursue a Master of Science degree in International Oil and Gas Management, because, according to her, she would not want to limit herself to the engineering field. "I want to broaden my horizon.

"I believe Nigeria is a blessed nation. We are going through a lot at the moment but I believe in redemption. I do hope our parents and grandparents can rest and give us the future leaders a chance to restore hope to our nation.

"Yes I'll move back home at the completion of my masters, get married, gain some work experience, learn how to apply my knowledge to the real world, and continue my journey to being the Oprah Winfrey of my generation," Nana said

Mother Names Her Twins Barack Obama And Mitt Romney

A Kenyan mother has named her new-born twins after US President Barack Obama and his Republican challenger Mitt Romney, the BBC reports.

Millicent Owuor, 20, gave birth to the twins in south-west Kenya on the day Obama was re-elected.

A short distance from the hospital, at the Obama family's ancestral village, people were celebrating his victory.

"I named the first twin Barack and the second one Mitt," Owuor was quoted by Reuters as saying.

Owuor posed for photographers on Wednesday at the Siaya District Hospital with her twin boys.

She said she had named her twins after the winning and losing US presidential candidates in order to remember the day of the vote, Kenya's Standard newspaper reports.

The US president's father was born in Kenya and his step-grandmother, Sarah Obama, still lives in the village of Kogelo.

The residents of Kogelo sang and danced after Obama was declared the winner.

"The reason why he has won is because God has given it to him," said Sarah Obama, who turns 90 this year.

"Secondly, he has got the knowledge to love all people, he doesn't have the knowledge of division, that is why he has won."

Barack Obama senior died in a road accident in Kenya in 1982.

Girl Drugged, Raped By Man She Met On Facebook

She claims she met the man on Facebook and both arranged for a friendly date after one month of lovey dovey inbox messages.

The man picked her up in a Range rover car and drove to upmarket westlands for a drink. She decided to have red bull since that was their first time of meeting and didn't want to leave a bad impression.

During their date, she excused herself and went to the loo, that was when the man drugged the red bull she was drinking.

The girl only remembers being drowsy and someone dragging her to the car. She was half awake but still weak when the man together with other assailants raped her repeatedly. She lost count of the number of times she was raped.

She only came back to her senses when good samaritans found her in Umoja 2, Kenya in a very bad state.

The girl said her vagina was sore and couldn't walk properly.

She warns females to be very careful about the male friends they meet on Facebook as not all of them have good intentions.

Kenyan Father Defiled 2 Daughters, Invited Neighbours To Join

Police are holding a middle aged man in custody and hunting for his neighbor after they defiled the man's children.

According to neighbors at an estate in Thika, the father of three had been defiling his two daughters aged between five and ten. The news of the incident broke when the man's son told his teacher of his sisters' ordeal.

The boy told his teacher that his father used to defile the two girls at times in front of the boy and the children's mother.

Their father always threatened them against telling anybody and had also invited his neighbor who defiled his elder daughter.

Police have taken up the case and the girls have been transferred to Thika East Children's home. Thika Children's officer Harrison Mwiti said that the man will be arraigned in court for the beastly acts.

"Homosexuals Want To Sleep With Me"- Mr. Ibu

Famous comic actor, John Okafor, otherwise known as Mr. Ibu has lamented that the Nigerian motion picture industry, globally known as Nollywood is currently being ravaged by a virus called homosexuality. The Thespian in an interview with E-Express disclosed that some guys had been after him, trying to harass him sexually.

He said: “One idiot came toasting me o! That is true, as funny as it would sound. Something is happening in this Nollywood. These upcoming actors are being used by some of the established producers who are gays. If you want to get a job as an up and coming actor, you must sleep with them. You must be sexed to get a job. We are no longer in the era of the female actresses suffering from sexual harassment; it is now man to man. Abomination! God has a lot of things to judge. Man to woman is also bad, but we can easily overlook that. Why not put your penis in the right place. There is something spiritual in that thing (frowns). Why would you bend down for one idiot to penetrate you, thereby destroying your future? You left God and bowed to devil by the time you get up, you get up as a woman, while the idiot that penetrated you walks away majestically! Their payback is sudden death, and it keeps happening.

This is not the first time the actor would talk about his experience with gays in the make-believe industry.

In a recent interview with GoldenIcons TV in Houston Texas, US, the hunk also voiced his conviction about the virus eating deep into the industry: “I am sorry if my friends are involved. It is a virus and it is killing our industry. If there is any way in this world that people can make them stop it or kill it, please do it. God will punish you, because God did not advise you to do it. God designed woman and dashed us for free,” he stated

To me, I am normal and I am a big man."

Ex-councillor Stabs Teenager For Refusing Sexual Advances

A former councillor of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, Onimole Babatunde, is currently being detained at the Area E Police Command, Festac, Lagos for allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old girl in the neck after she refused his advances at a night club.

PUNCH Metro learnt that on October 26, Mariam Abubakar went to Pearl Habour Night Club in Rochester Garden Hotel, Festac to “catch weekend fun.”

Her friend, who pleaded anonymity, said they only went there “to hang out” when Babatunde, who was obviously drunk, started to make advances to Abubakar.

She said, “She was not interested in him so she did not answer when he called her. He was dancing and Mariam (Abubakar) was sitting at a table. He was obviously drunk and he came to pull her.

“He was manhandling her and she insisted he should leave her alone. This did not go down well with Babatunde and he was really angry. He went to a corner, took a bottle, broke it and stabbed Mariam in the neck.”

According to the source, Babatunde fled the scene immediately.

A police source at Area E told our correspondent that the preliminary report obtained indicated that the incident occurred at about 1:30am.

He said Abubakar bled profusely at the scene before she was taken to Naval Hospital, Ojo by sympathisers at the night club.

The source said she was not admitted because those who took her there could not produce a police report.

“That was when someone notified our station (Area E Command) and we went to take her to Ajeromi General Hospital,” he said.

It was learnt that as Abubakar was being taken to the general hospital, she went into a coma.

She was said to have been revived at the general hospital. A nurse at the hospital, who craved anonymity, told our correspondent that she had lost about 20 per cent of her blood.

Abubakar is currently under intensive care at the hospital.

However, the police said the night club workers destroyed evidence at the scene of the alleged crime by cleaning up Abubakar’s blood on the floor.

The hotel has currently been sealed off by the police because the management did not report the incident.

It was learnt that the police got wind of Babatunde’s whereabouts, said to be holing up somewhere in Ikoyi and called him to simply come and write a statement. But he was detained immediately he got to the station.

The police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, said she had not been briefed on the case.

Man On The Run After Impregnating His Mother For The Second Time

If one time was not bad enough for him to taste the forbidden and sacrilegious fruit, he did it a second time, according to reports.

A man has fled his home in Pote Village, Mashonaland Central Province in Zimbabwe, after allegedly impregnating his mother a second time, according to the British news media. The mother also fled the village.

Simon Matsvara and his mother Ethel Vhangare decided to leave the village after church members learned of the alleged pregnancy. Just four years ago, the two were reportedly fined by the village elders when Vhangare suffered a miscarriage after getting pregnant from her son.

The village chief, Chinamhora, said that the community was outraged by the allegations and has organized a team to find Matsvara and Vhangare. “We will hunt the two and we will severely punish them sending a clear message to potential offenders that we will not tolerate these acts,” he told the state-run newspaper.

The couple reportedly began their incestuous relationship back in 2008, when asked by the Matsvara family to care for his ailing father, Agripah, who later died. When the mother became pregnant for the first time, they were fined and told to end their relationship. News of the alleged second pregnancy occurred when the mother began to skip church and members visited their home. It was there that they found the mother was five months pregnant, allegedly by her own son.

The two reportedly left their village shortly after the discovery and are believed to be on the run.

20-Year Old Houseboy Defiles Boss' 16-Year Old Daughter

A 20-year old houseboy working for the family of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dopemu at their residence in Surulere, Lagos has defiled his emloyers’ six-year-old daughter.

The houseboy, Obong Thompson reports say allegedly grabbed his boss’ six-year old daughter (name withheld) pulled off her clothes and had carnal knowledge of her while his bosses were at work.

According to reports, when Mr. and Mrs. Dopemu returned from work, they noticed their daughter’s unusual mood. They later discovered blood in her private part and quickly reported the matter to the police at Bode Thomas Divisional Headquarters. Thompson was arrested and investigated.

In his confessional statement, the suspect allegedly wrote: “When both of us were at home alone, I saw her body naked. I was charged and emotionally carried away.”

He was arraigned before a family court sitting at Tinubu, Lagos Island.

The court ordered that Thompson be remanded at Kirikiri prisons, Apapa, Lagos till the next hearing of the case on November 14.
